⚫ | :I wouldn't take it to be a fad, personally, it's just current affairs and YTMND has almost become a satire site that mocks current affairs. This will probably die down after a couple of weeks. I think one of the criteria for what constitutes a fad shouldn't just be sheer volume, it needs to be whether or not the "fad" is still going after a month or two. Sonic Sez = definitely a fad with new YTMNDs added all the time. MySpace Suicide = all but dead after a ridiculous drive that lasted a couple of days with the supply utterly exhausted over those days. |

I think this is a recent fad as almost twenty YTMND's have popped up today due to his impending execution.
